The City Secretary's Office consists of the City Secretary, Assistant City Secretary and a Records Management Coordinator. This office is responsible for maintaining accurate records for the city, the Keller City Council and city Staff through a Records Management Program mandated by state law and adopted by city ordinance.
The City Secretary's Office prepares Keller City Council agendas and packets, and records and maintains City Council minutes, resolutions and ordinances. This office conducts municipal elections, coordinates city Board and Commission appointments, and issues city alcoholic beverage permits. The City Secretary also serves as the local registrar for birth and death records.
