Bringing the library to you!
Are you (or someone you know) over the age of 65 and unable to leave home due to age or illness or lack of transportation, but still wish to use the library? The library can provide deliveries of books, movies, information, and more to Keller residents who are confined to their homes in a temporary or permanent capacity. You can find our application for KPL@Home Services here.
Deliveries are generally made once a month by library staff and can consist of materials selected by the patron or by a librarian. All library materials including books, audiobooks, movies, magazines, and special collections like puzzles are available to KPL@Home patrons.
KPL@Home patrons may also request time to work with a librarian 1-on-1 to learn how to use any of our e-materials platforms for instant checkouts of ebooks, audiobooks, and more.
For more information, to see if you qualify, or to arrange deliveries, please contact Joshua Cade, Adult Services Librarian, at 817-743-4853 or jcade@cityofkeller.com. The program is generally limited to patrons 65 years of age or older, but exceptions can be made due to exceptional circumstances.
