Keller has a lot of trees, and that means a lot of leaves! To better accommodate residents, Community Waste Disposal is offering a special leaf collection program on several Saturdays designed to help manage the high volume of leaves in our community.

Sign-ups for these special collections will run the Sunday through Wednesday before each date:  Nov. 23, Dec. 7, Dec. 14, Dec. 21, and Jan. 4. For more information, please call 817-743-4000.

What to Know

• CWD will continue to follow regular collection guidelines during the week, so you can continue to put leaves out on your normal collection days. On Monday/Tuesday use biodegradable bags to put up to 10 bags out for composting. On Thursday/Friday CWD will collect up to 10 bags that will go to the landfill.

• The Saturday special collection dates are for bagged leaves only; please do not place any other yard waste or bulk materials curbside.

• Since we cannot guarantee that all residents will bag their leaves in paper bags, leaves picked up during special collection Saturdays are headed to the landfill, not a Living Earth facility. If you prefer that your leaves go to a Living Earth facility, please follow the normal yard waste guidelines for weekly pickups of up to 10 bags on your first service day. 

• Please DO NOT put loose leaves in trash cans or carts. Leaves must be bagged according to the guidelines above.

• Place Bagged Leaves Curbside by 7 a.m. on Collection Day
