Effective February 25, 2022, the City of Keller adopted the 2018 International Energy Conservation Code as the standard for residential and non-residential construction.

Residential Construction Requirements

• Residential Compliance Path Form (due with building plan submittal) 
• Residential Energy Prescriptive Method (required if Prescriptive Method is selected on above form)
• Residential Compliance Certificate (required before a Building Final can be scheduled)

Commercial Construction Requirements

Commercial developers are required to submit a COMcheck report completed by an energy design professional as part of their building permit application.
