Operating a Food Truck in the City of Keller requires a permit issued by Building Services. It is a violation of City Ordinance to operate any mobile food unit without first obtaining a Permit and receiving a fire safety inspection of your mobile food unit. All permits shall be clearly visible, and taped to the front windshield of your truck while you are operating in the City of Keller. There is a $50.00 fee for the permit and once issued, is valid for one (1) year. Fire safety inspections are required every six months in accordance with the 2021 International Fire Code and NFPA 96. All food truck inspections are conducted at Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Parkway, Keller TX 76248. Inspections are available between the hours of 0800-1400 Monday - Thursday.
