Listing Criteria
Individuals added to the Keller Veterans Memorial:
- Lived in the “Keller Region” before or during their U.S. Military Service. Note: This does not include veterans who were discharged before moving to Keller.
- Performed in active duty. This includes anyone who is in a regular branch of the service, and any reservists or National Guard who were activated anytime during their time of service.
- Have been discharged, or are Killed In Action or Missing In Action
'Keller Region' Definition
For the purposes of the Veterans Memorial Park, the "Keller Region" is defined as follows:
- Northern Boundary: State Hwy. 170
- Eastern Boundary: Davis Boulevard (FM 1938)
- Southern Boundary: Bursey Road
- Western Boundary: I-35 West
Display Style
Veterans are listed as follows:
- Last Name, First Name
- Arranged alphabetically among the names listed at the date of posting
In the spirit of flexibility and inclusion, the Review Board will have authority to authorize additional names as they are discovered, decide how often to engrave the additions into the granite columns, and have the ability to consider exceptions to these policies on a case-by-case basis.
