PUBLIC NOTICE
In compliance with the Texas Public Information Act and upon proper request, the Keller Police Department will provide a copy of all information deemed a public record by the act, for a fee and within ten (10) working days of receipt of the request or we will refer the request to the Attorney General of the State of Texas for a determination.
Records commonly considered to be public record include:
- Traffic Accident Reports
- Incident Reports
- Call-for-Service
- Offense Reports (summary sheet only)
- Jail Arrest Log
- General Orders
- Policies and Procedures
- Statistical Information
- Finance Records
All other requests may require the opinion of the Attorney General before release.
