The City of Keller utilizes the eBid procurement system to advertise procurement opportunities, to receive electronic submissions, and to maintain a vendor database.

All vendors and/or persons interested to conducting business with the City, regardless of whether they currently do business with the City of Keller or not, are required to complete a vendor (supplier) registration in the eBid system.

Vendors interested in obtaining bid, requests for quote (RFQ), and requests for proposals (RFP) documents must register as a vendor in the City's eBid system and update the registration periodically in order to receive bid notifications.


Bidding Procedures
Notices for formal, sealed bids are advertised under the Legal Sections in the Star-Telegram, the city's official newspaper.

Bids, quotes, addendums, and awards may be obtained through the City's eBid system. Vendors must register as a vendor the eBid system to obtain electronic specifications.  There are no fees to use the eBid system or to receive automatic notices.

Formal competitive bid and RFP documents may be requested from the Purchasing Technician by email or by phone (817) 743-4030. Subject line of email should state "Bid Document Request".

Bids will be processed electronically and by manual receipt.  Bids are opened publicly at the designated closing date and time. Vendors are welcome to attend a bid opening, but it is not required as the information will be posted to the eBid website.

Important Information for All Vendors:

Chapter 176 of the Texas Local Government Code requires that vendors meeting certain conditions are required to file a Questionnaire Form CIQ with the City Secretary. The form may be found at: www.ethics.state.tx.us/data/forms/conflict/CIQ.pdf.

Vendors are responsible for ascertaining if they need to file the form. Please review the Texas Local Government Code, Section 176.006, which can be found at: www.statutes.legis.state.tx.us/Docs/LG/htm/LG.176.htm#176.006

By law, the CIQ questionnaire form must be filed with the City Secretary for the City of Keller within seven (7)business days. A person commits an offense if the person violates Section 176.006, Texas Local Government Code. An offense under that section is a Class C misdemeanor.
